Job Title: Solutions Architect 
Employment type: Full time 
Salary range: 150,000 - 160,000 USD per year 

This position is based in the state of California, San Francisco, US. 

As a senior solutions architect, you will lead Healthcare & Life Sciences (HCLS) Partner solutions for Vitalecare working with our development partner and consulting solution providers. This is a strategic role requiring senior technical leader experience supporting advanced cloud solutions for Healthcare and Life Sciences providers.

 
You will be a technical leader within the cross-functional team, passionate about growing technology adoption in the Healthcare and Life Sciences industry. You will collaborate with some of the largest ISVs and consulting companies in the US to ensure they build scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions across public cloud platforms. You will be as comfortable whiteboarding complex software architectures with a room full of engineers and engaging directly with technical leaders, C-level executives, and influencers.

 
Candidates should demonstrate the ability to think strategically and long-term about the needs of global businesses and are deeply familiar with complex legacy IT environments, and new native digital environments. Experience working directly with product mission statements is required, and prior experience working with technology companies is a plus. Previous experience in designing cloud-native solutions experience is a must. Strong public speaking and writing skills are required. This is a mid-senior level position with the ability to scale the right candidate. 

Key Job Responsibilities 

• Working together with the product management teams and solutions, architects develop the technical strategy and approach for enhancing the Vitalecare product. 
• Establish standards for development, security, network, infrastructure, application, and data standards using Open source technologies. 
• Collaborate with various cloud partners to realize cloud-based solutions offerings, including the development of reference architectures, creation of thought leadership collateral, and public industry presentations. 
• Exhibit Thought Leadership by evangelizing services and solutions designed to benefit healthcare service providers. Share best practices through forums such as white papers, reference architectures, and public speaking events such as industry conferences. 

 

Required Qualifications 

• A bachelor's degree. 
• 5+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience.
• 3+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructure experience.
• Knowledge of software development tools and methodologies.
• Deep knowledge of cloud technologies. 
• Deep knowledge of cloud networking and security. 
• Experience communicating technical solutions to executives, IT management, and software developers. 

 

Additional Criteria 

• Experience with cloud solutions, virtual platforms, software development experience, and operational management practices and frameworks. 
• Understanding of security, risk and compliance frameworks, disaster recovery, high availability architectures, hardware, operating systems, and networking connectivity. 
• Experience in delivering technical articles, and speak at technology conferences 
• One or more combinations of - experience with HL7, FHIR, and other healthcare messaging frameworks; experience with medical imaging solutions, and understanding of clinical trials management and/or real-world evidence platforms.
